Hole 1 Slightly uphill so it is usually one more club than you imagine. Aim carefully and swing freely to avoid the troublesome banks right and left of the green.
Hole 2 Don´t aim away from the water too much or you will either end up on the bushy hillside right, or fail to make a swing at all! Remember nothing to fear except fear itself.
Hole 3 Number 3 is only about 100m but don´t relax too much, it still needs a positive swing to finish on the “Dance Floor”.
Hole 4 The green is hidden by the trees, but it´s in the direction of the Don Carlos Hotel. Out of bounds is only a few meters right and beyond this green, so perhaps you should aim short and left and settle for 4?
Hole 5 A challenging shot if you decide to go for the green, with out of bounds close to right side. Maybe short left, is a better option? A beautiful hole from the back
Hole 6 Shortest of all but no pushover. You should have checked out the pin position on the way to the third hole... This is a big green so watch out for three putts!
Hole 7 Keep a little left as land falls to the right. If you do miss to the right shout “fore” as the 8th tee is there !
Hole 8 Similar length and strategy to the 7th, this time watch out for the 9th tee.
Hole 9 Saving the best to last, long par 3 to narrow stepped green. Missing green right or left leaves a nightmare approach so maybe playing to hole as a par 4 is your best option. |
